Dr. Galit Askenazi of Neuropsychology and Forensic Psychology Specialty Services, Ltd. (NFSS) is a well-respected professional in the field of clinical neuropsychology and forensic psychology. Her current focus is on evaluating adults with concerns in emotional functioning and cognition (i.e., thinking) in order to clarify diagnoses, determine cognitive and psychoemotional functioning, and make legal opinions and recommendations. Being that only legal referrals are currently being accepted, these typically come from attorneys, the courts, employers, and disability companies.

What is Neuropsychology?

Neuropsychology is the science of the relationship between brain functioning and behaviors and thinking processes. A clinical neuropsychologist is someone who specializes in the assessment of individuals with complaints in behavior and thinking to determine what can be attributed to abnormal or normal brain functioning, emotional issues, and/or situational factors.

What is Forensic Psychology?

Forensic psychology is the practice of evaluating the psychological status of an individual in association with specific legal questions. Forensic neuropsychology integrates the assessment of brain functioning in answering such legal questions.
